We are a university library and in need of a turnstile. Can you recommend what we would need? All of our turnstiles are suitable for use in a library application to control pedestrian traffic in a single direction. While our 4-arm turnstiles are the most economical turnstiles to control the direction of pedestrian travel, the most commonly used turnstiles for a library application would be the cabinet model turnstile: T-246 . This turnstile can be configured to work with a book detection system or an access control system. Typically a manual turnstile is used for the entrance and an electronic turnstile, connected to a book detection system, for the exit. Another popular option for the T-246 turnstile is our key resettable digital counter to keep track of how many patrons have entered the library. With its smooth, effortless and reliable service the T-246 turnstile is the best choice for colleges/universities, libraries, fitness centers, and cafeterias to name just a few types of facilities. |
